The Exer-Pedic line of easily controlled resistive exercise devices are economical sturdy, lightweight and an ideal aid to relieving impaired muscle strain and restoring coordination to lower and upper extremities.
Exer-Pedic's employ a bicycle-like pedal arm mechanism with restrictive "effort-motion" action. The degree of effort may be moderated by adjusting the built-in braking devices. They may be used in, or with hospital beds, wheel chairs and most chairs without concern for personal balance or equipment stability.
- Designed for limited use with lower extremities only.
- Setting the resistance is not as precise as with the other models, it is still infinitely variable.
- This model also provides adjustments of pedal distance from the user but not as positive as the DA-300 and DA-100 models, which have pins in the bottom of the yoke and positively engage holes in the main frame which eliminates any possible movement.
- The pedal arc is fixed at 5 1/2" and the foot is held to bicycle type pedals with wide toe straps with a Velcro type fastening system.
